Aren't they too cute together?  I AM SOOO happy I got Mr. Miagi's sister for him.  They give me many hours of joy, watching them play...
 My latest painting of them, a little crude but I like it.  I need to learn to start shading, but it seems like after I get painting I'm afraid I'm gonna mess it up with shading.  How silly is that?  Any suggestions or tips on shading would be greatly appreciated...  Please leave a comment...

A dream of a day...

I had a wonderous weekend...  It was my 16th wedding anniversary...  Married 16 years but we have lived together for 20 years and I am more happy today than ever.  I am very blessed to have my soul mate Terry.  He had an awesome present for me.  This scrapbook below..  My friend Vicki had it at Mora's antiques and I drooled over it but she never had it for sale.  I wished I  could just get scans of it because the images were so big and unusual and wonderful.  Well one day while we were in there her daughter Jamie said her mother was interested in selling it.  So she said she would call me during the week.  Well she never called so Terry and I went in there again and her daughter in law was working and called her and Vicki said she already sold it.  I was sooo very sad and kinda upset that she didn't call me.  Well after we left my husband couldn't stand me being so upset so he told me he already  got it for me for our anniversary.  I was so happy, but I still wish it would of been a surprise, but oh did he do good, he sooo knows me...

These images are so big, this is over 20 inches tall...  My favorate image that I lusted over was not in the album I guess Vicki too lusted over it too and had to keep it...  Very understandable...

But we had a PERFECT anniversary we went out to estate sales, and it was a GREAT DAY, got sooo many bargain treasures, (I haven't taken pictures of them yet) bought some great books and beads had an awesome lunch with a gift certificate from my son Spencer and his girlfriend Megan.  But most of all I just kept thanking God for such an awesome husband....  Very blessed am I....

What makes sense to me???

Laughter, unicorns, rainbows, playing with wild abondon, never growing old, God, love, family, green tea, dark chocolate, anything french, dancing underneath the full moon, finding the good in everyone and everything....  I love top hats, striped socks, quirky smiles, PINK, black and white stripes, and black and white polka dots, pastels, bright colors, kittys & doggies..

I am sooo savoring the cool weather, I seem to sleep alot better under the warm covers.  But then the cold weather makes my arthritis and all the broken bones I have had ache...  There are always the plus's and the minus's in life...

This is a new mannaquin head my sweet hubby bought me at Mora's antiques here in Lake Elsinore.  I love it, but don't like the green too much, should I paint it or leave it as is.  Any advise would be appreciated....

Another weekend come and gone, I can not believe how fast time goes by.  They say if you are happy, time goes by quickly.  And if you are sad time goes by painfully slow...  Yes, I am very blessedly happy...

This is a new painting I am starting....

This is the big bookcase I painted and collaged the back with vintage wallpaper and vintage gift wrap....  Looks like Mr. Miagi likes it.....

I wake up during the middle of the nite all the time to pitter-patter of my two kitties playing and running, that's nothing new.  But last nite I hear them playing with something in the bathroom on the tile.  I'm tired and don't wanna get up and stop them, so I pray please lord let them loose it, but it goes on and on and reluctantly I get up to put a stop to it and wonder how it went on for so long...  I look for the kittys and don't see them.  They were in the bath tub both of them playing with a lid to the conditioner, hitting it back and forth like a hockey game.  No wonder why it wouldn't stop.  So my annoyance went away, cuz I thought it was so dang cute...  They love playing in my big jacuzzi bath tub...

This is a picture of my glass diminitive buttons charm string.  In the victorian days (I believe) a yound woman would collect buttons from friends and family and it was believed by the time she got 100 buttons she would find true love....  Wouldn't that have been a fun thing to have done.  Why don't we do things like that anymore?

Yikes, I don't know what happend but Monday I made plans to meet my friend Sabrina on Tuesday, but late Monday nite my head started pounding so unbelievably.  So I was immobilized all Tuesday but then on Wednesday morning it left as quickly as it came.  My husband stayed home from work to with intense body aches and was also fine the next morning.  I have no idea what it was, maybe 24 hour flu or something.  It was also my mothers  birthday and being in bed I forgot to call her.  I couldn't believe I could do such a thing.   Yikes...  I LOVE YOU MOM  & I hope you had a 'blessed birthday"...

Inspiration is about instinct; You must trust it before you can convey it with confidence to others

I'm all over the place when it comes to creating.   Is anyone else like this?  I literally have so many different things going at the same time.  I have a bunch of canvas's I've started, I'll do some painting put them away and on to the next.  I have purses started, I work on them a little and on to something else.  Lots of jewelry projects going on and beading.  I guess my main focus is finishing my new studios that when I have free time, I just grab whatever I can when I have a moment...  Yesterday I was painting this big shelving unit for my bead room, then I painted a bunch of little houses, I made a necklace and went thru a bunch of stuff to put in the studio.  See I'm all over the place.  Today I get to collage different vintage wallpapers on the inside of the cupboards I painted yesterday. I can't wait till it's done, I'm gonna put all my lovely vintage jewelry boxes on it in my bead studio...

 
 

I am fairly certain with a cape and a tiara.... I could save the world....hee-hee

Okay this mom's a sucker, for the cute....  Please meet the newest member of our family "Gimme".  Her name is Gimme Moore (get it) my 13 year old Quinn named her.  She is Mr. Miagis sister.. 

She is VERY precious..  She did not have a home yet and we do think it's a good idea to get animals in pairs so they are not so lonely.  And boy oh boy do they play together so much, it is so cute.  Our first two kittys we got them 14 years ago, beads & buttons are their names.  Unfortunately Buttons disappeared in June.  I think a coyote might of got her, but we are not sure.  So we just have beads now, and what does she think of the new kittens, well shes an old lady and just watches them like their crazy, but she accepts them as part of the family. 

 

Below is a picture of a chip board book I bought from Paper Tales I have covered it in pretty papers and now I need to fill it with treasures I will post a picture when completed. 

 This pink mirror is darling, I got it and the gold mesh purse this weekend at Mora's Treasures here in Lake Elsinore. (my favorate antique store)  I just glued the face onto a doll body I sewed and am now going to bead it.  The crown I got from a vendor at Artunraveled
